Mission Rock Resort

A super nice change of scenery, overlooking the old shipyards that SF was once known for. The food, the drinks and the views were delicious. My Rock Burger was divine and the the Eggs Benedict looked sumptuous. Nearby construction (condos, office buildings and the new Warriors stadium) made parking a challenge. But, it's still a fantastic venue even if they no longer host weekend raves that put them on the map. ; )

Wasn't that impressed by seafood quality but atmosphere and view were awesome. Very spacious and fun scene.

Yes, in fact I do have brunch here almost every weekend! Sitting outside with the view of the bay and a bottle of bubbles is only topped off by a very good and fairly priced oyster selection. Dog friendly on the deck doesn't hurt either!

I really enjoyed my visit to Mission Rock. It was very lively and busy before The Who concert in October 2019. I had oysters from Point Reyes and 2 pints of Stella, everything was great and the service at the bar was impeccable even though they were VERY busy. They definitely need more bar seating during Chase events as people want to suck up a few pints before hitting the venue, where beer is 2X as much. I suggest getting there early to hit happy hour and beat the stampede to the SMALL bar upstairs. The World Series was on while I was there; it was Great!

Friendly service! It has a really nice view right on the water. The large outdoor decks are great and have heat lamps for when it's cold. Really laid back and nice place!

My wife and I were married here six years ago (we were the first ever wedding there) and it was great. Good location being almost across the street from the Chase Center. Unfortunately, prices have skyrocketed and the quality of food does not reflect the price. Peter Osborne owns the building, having been bought before the Warriors bought land across the street, so rent does not explain the price increases. Food was very good, disappointing ceviche. I expect it will be VERY crowded before every event.

Dockside dining by the bay. Exquisite shiny Chase Center on one side and aging ship dry docks on the other. Perfect blend of what makes San Francisco so special. The meal and service at Mission Rock were excellent, by the by 😎

So I got tickets to see Elton John at the Chase Center, coupled with a free Limo ride from a Cancer Cares event.... Had the limo driver drop us off at this restaurant, that ccouln't be more perfectly positioned - accross the street from the Chase Center. The Staff was totally prepared... Food coming out so fresh and delicious, with amazing bars. Then the manager, Nick Osborne coming around to make sure everything was to our liking - YES!! Highly recommend... With Views too!

It's clean with friendly staff and a great view. I was disappointed in the fish and chips. The taste was great, but you hardly get any fish at all..

This felt like an eerily empty utopia, but hey it was utopic. We went there for brunch and were seated with a beautiful view of the harbor. We picked out some tasty cocktails and some eggs benedict options and the like. And then we waited. A waiter came by to bring a check to a nearby table, which must have been all dentists because wow their teeth were blindingly white. We chatted, waiting. The waiter brought some pitchers of booze to the next table of happily buzzed women again with such white teeth and then the waiter scampered off lazily. And we waited some more. And then left after a half hour.

Best happy hour in the area, nice views. You can get a bucket of 6 beers for $20 from 4-7 (as of this writing), along with dollar oysters. They have a nice patio and the decor inside is nice and modern. Very clean and the service was great. I plan on coming back here many times in the future

Very nice setting and service was really good. Good verity of food, fish tacos were great, burgers were delicious.

This place is a winner. It's a really nice place to go before the game. Nice selection of seafood and other types of meat based meals. It's right across the street from the chase Center so it's very convenient

The atmosphere was very lively to say the least! A young crowd of people who enjoyed themselves around us and the weather was bipolar too! The food was delicious and the service was great. We didn't order drinks but all the parties around us did and customers seemed to like them especially the mimosas. We are definitely coming back!

This spot that's right on the water, just a stones throw from the new Chase Center, is perfect for that before game/concert seafood extravaganza. Fresh fish and oysters are on point.

Food was wonderful! Get together of Cousins covered a lot of dishes! Chef changed the brioche for sour dough on the crab roll due to my allergies!

My experience there was good. It was a rainy Saturday morning & I went there for brunch. The bartender was very friendly and helpful. The food was good. I had the original eggs Benedict, the sauce could have had a little more flavor but overall good, I’d probably get it again. The scenery was beautiful, it wasn’t a busy Saturday morning so we had the place to ourselves at least it felt like that and It was very peaceful and calm.

Nice restaurant but disappointing food. My buffalo chicken sandwich was good with the exception of the bun - I think the intent was for it to be toasted but it ended up more burnt. I should've taken a picture of the bottom, but it was a crunchy shell instead of a crisp bun. The vongole seems like it should have been better, but the baby clams were a bit chewy and not anything special. The fries and service were good.

Perfect!! MahiMahi was cooked just right and very tasty. Sat outside over the water. NICE! Our waiter, Keenan, was very attentive and pleasant. My beer came nice and cold in a frosty glass! What more can a person ask for?

Forgot the name but it’s a stew of mussel, crab, shrimp, salmon and tomato. It goes so well with the bread!!!But there’s not much view facing the sea :/

Great location and wievs unreachable food for remacable price

One of my favorite places in the bay of all time. Have gone here for a few years and it never fails to disappoint. Early morning breeze compliments the breakfast perfectly and the pleasant sunlight is an added bonus. Staff is very helpful and frequently revisit your table for anything you might need. 10/10 awesome

I go there once in a while for oyster happy hour and I can eat two dozen by myself. They're delicious. Also the wedge salad is good. And you can't beat the view.

Great atmosphere to enjoy a pre-Warriors game meal.

Great to go for lunch. It's nice to drink a beer and enjoy the views from the outside deck dining area.

Eating outstanding food outdoors on the deck on one those rare warm calm San Francisco evenings with the lights of Oakland and Berkeley shining across the water. It doesn't get better than this!

Great food great view awesome experience every time

This was a great place to stop before dinner before heading to our Golden State Warriors have. Great Fish and Chips and friendly service made for a really pleasant time. We also got a view over the water which was great. Will definitely do again next time we're seeing a warriors game!

Liked it so much went 2 nights in a row before concerts at Chase. Food was great and having a drink outside in good weather is always a good thing

Beautiful surroundings and good service. Good calamari. Crabb roll is tasty, but needs more crab and less bread. Way too much horse radich in thousand island dressing. Good eggs Benedict.

Somehow everytime I went, managed to find a seat out on the water with a view to the shipyard or the bay. Offers a variety of snacks, oysters and drinks. Enjoyed their crab roll very much. Never too busy. But can't say now that Chase center is in bizniz.

Food is good. You have to walk very careful with your high heels. The floor was not designed for high heels

I loved the seating. We were placed outside and had a great view of the bay. The food was great, the overall experience was great. I would have given more stars but the service is really slow. Our drinks came out fine but the food and took forever.

The bartender was working hard to make sure everyone was served in a timely manner.

Another gem this city has to offer - $1 oysters during happy hour (while they last) and it goes from 4-7pm. The oysters are always tasty and the service is typically top notch - plus, the views are impeccable. Can’t be beat!!

A very relaxing spot if you want to chill and look out onto the Bay. Visited during the happy hour, 3-7, and enjoyed oysters and totopos. Fresh Miyagis hit the spot, especially since they were $1 each. Totopos were light and tasty. Looking forward to the next time.

Seafood, woo super good. We Got there about seven, it wasn't crowded. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and we plan to keep coming back. This place has a great atmosphere. The food was very good.

Nice location. I used to come here when it was Kelly's Mission Rock and attended day parties. Now it's more of a restaurant setting with a family vibe. Definitely has nice views and decent food. Great place to visit when the sun is out.

They were not prepared for a large crowd before the Metallica S&M show, which was surprising to me. We made reservations, but the downstairs host gave my group bad information which caused a 20 minute delay in getting us seated. The waitress was great. She clearly communicated that there was a delay in the kitchen (understandably so) and even gave us some bread to munch on while we waited. 3/4 dishes we ordered we fine. Mine was the unlucky one. I ordered the Rock hamburger with blue cheese medium rare. It was completely rare. I didn't ask for anything (to be comp'd or have it sent back). I showed the waitress the burger and she took it off our check. She also took it back to the chefs to show them how rare it was. Like I said, she was great.

Decent place, kind of a tourist trap though. Good food but wouldn’t pay $25 for Mac and cheese again

Great fresh seafood. Service was attentive and excellent. Highly recommend when going to Chase Center events - close and short walk.
